This weekend was filled with lots of local fun in the city of Albuquerque. On Saturday, my husband and I went to the May Day Celebration at Skarsgard Farms to swing on giant two seater swings, eat local food and buy organic and locally grown plants for our porch. On Sunday, we went to the opening day of the Rail Yard Market in Albuquerque. It's very exciting for our city to open up a new large scale market in the heart of downtown. What makes it so very unique is the location. It is located in one of the old rail yard buildings. It was a packed market filled with local growers, art vendors, and musicians. I hope that this market continues to grow and becomes a major attractions to visitors to our cities as well as continuing to draw in the local crowd. .
